Black Soapstone is also known as Marine Black. It derives its name from its sharp black appearance. Usually, the thickness of Black Soapstone slabs is 3 cm, but in rare cases the thickness can be 2 cm. Black Soapstone is quarried in the city of lakes, Udaipur itself.
